Sometimes the hardest thing about doing a painting is coming up with a title. This is especially so when the work is abstract and who knows how it evolved to its finished state!  This may sound crazy, but sometimes I paint to the title – that is to say that I have a title in mind and paint to express it.  I wonder if other artists do that.
Here is a painting that I titled AFTER I painted it – Shadow #1.  It is acrylic and mixed media on 12″ x 12″ canvasand is currently on display at Coastal Arts League Museum & Gallery in Half Moon Bay.  I priced it very low at $95.00.  There is a Shadow #2 which I will post at another time. It is also at the CAL Gallery.
