Carolyn and I headed north to Powell River, British Columbia, as our destination.  A long drive and 2 ferry rides later, we arrived at Powell River.  What a beautiful place – trees and more trees and peaceful inlets with rocky shorelines.  An overnight stay at a rustic resort that came highly recommended, and 2 more scenic ferry rides brought us to Vancouver, B.C.  The busy pace and high energy of the big city was a great contrast to the rural environs we just left.

At Granville Island we met wtih Cristina and were able to visit the Federation Gallery so we could see Shannon’s print in the BIMPE (Biannual International Miniature Print Exhibition) exhibit.   On to Eugene, Oregon, for a visit with another friend and a stop to deliver my artist’s submission to a local gallery.

Now back at home with plans for some new paintings.

Here is a painting that I did a few years ago titled ARCHIPELAGO.   It is in a private collection.
