I recently finished another painting in the Haiku Threads series but I painted on a larger canvas. All of the other Haiku Threads paintings were done on 24″ x 24″ canvasses. I wanted to see if I could represent the same expression on a larger canvas, not a square. I am pleased with the outcome but have to admit that the square format really better suits the theme or motif. Maybe I’ve just gotten more comfortable with 24″ x 24″ and feel that the paintings have a relation to each other and need to have that similarity of size.

White Threads is painted on gallery wrapped canvas, 40″ x 30″, and is available for sale.
