When I submitted my entries for this juried show at the Pacific Art League in Palo Alto, I crossed my fingers that my work would be accepted – for a couple of reasons.  The first being that the juror was Valerie Wade, Director of Crown Point Press in San Francisco, and the second reason was that I had never before exhibited in the Main Gallery at the Pacific Art League.  My monotype, Lines II was accepted and I was thrilled when I was notified.

Monotype on Rives BFK paper, 23" x 19", framedThis exhibit, Pressing Matters – a National Print Exhibition, opens tomorrow, Friday, November 2, with a reception from 5:30 to 8:00 PM, and runs through Novermber 29.   The Pacific Art League is located at 668 Ramona Street in Palo Alto, CA.
