It’s always nice to get recognition for your work!  The exhibit is over and the painting is available for sale.  I’m very fond of this painting – it is acrylic/mixed media on 40″ x 30″ gallery wrapped canvas.

My latest painting, “Shadow Tales” is another in my Haiku Threads series.  I used a metallic acrylic paint which adds a bit of luminosity to the canvas and then I collaged a strip of painted paper wrapped with corded threads.  It is on 16″ x 16″ gallery wrapped canvas and is currently on display at The Coastal Arts League Gallery in Half Moon Bay and is available for sale.

I am just finishing up my 6th canvas – 12″ x 12″ – in the Haiku Threads Series.  The title will be “Spring Rain”.  Next Sunday I will be bringing these 6 paintings to display at the Haiku Poets of Northern California meeting in Fort Mason in San Francisco.  They will be on display during the meeting which features Haiku readings, a workshop, and socializing, from 1 – 5 PM.  Haiku poetry and art – should be a very good day!

Here is an image of the latest finished work.  The title is “Ginkgo”, acrylic/mixed media on 12″ x 12″ gallery wrapped canvas, and it is available for sale.

My painting, CINNABAR, has been selected as a Showcase Winner in ArtSlant’s 4th 2013 Showcase.  This painting, one of my Haiku Threads series, is acrylic/mixed media on 24″ x 24″ gallery wrapped canvas.  If you are interested in purchasing this painting, or any of my work, please contact me for more information.
